Direct optical observation of vertical Bloch lines in bubble garnets: new experimental evidences

Experimental data on features of the contrast of vertical Bloch lines obtained in a polarized anisotropic dark field are examined. The possibility that a wall deformation is the cause of the line contrast is considered. Two types of wall deformation are proposed: a displacement (over a height smaller than the thickness) and a tilt.
