The fluorescence observation device (1) has a substrate (10) that is formed with a predetermined observation position (100). A mask (11) is connected with the substrate, to enclose a light-shielding chamber (111) on the substrate. A transparent observation aperture (110) is formed in the mask. A light source assembly is provided with several light sources to emit the light at a low angle and in the direction of the predetermined observation position. Independent claims are included for the following: (1) a base frame; and (2) a fluorescence microscope.
