We study space-time (ST) block coding for single carriernzero-padded (ZP) block transmissions through finite impulse responsen(FIR) multipath fading channels of order L. We prove that the maximumndiversity of order 2(L+1) is achieved with two transmit and one receivenantenna. Simulations demonstrate that joint exploitation ofnmulti-antenna diversity and multipath diversity leads to significantlynenhanced performance
