摘要

Introduction: Anti-Müllerian hormone (AMH) has been suggested to have a significant role in ovarian follicle recruitment and development. AMH is secreted mainly by ovarian granulosa cells of growing preantral and small antral follicles. Its expression and role during fetal life and postnatally in females is not well known. Our objective was to study the timing of AMH expression in fetal ovaries and to evaluate the role of AMH in follicular development during fetal, neonatal and postnatal life.
