When the chips are down, there is nothing like a good girlfriend. A friend is someone who accepts you - warts, wrinkles, weight, and all - unconditionally. She listens to you whine, cry, and complain and does her best to look out for your interests. She supports you through thick and thin, but because there is mutual respect, she does not allow you to wallow in self-pity or manipulate her. She encourages you to be your best self and allows you the freedom to make your own choices. So when I received the phone call asking me to help my girlfriend, Rochelle, open her new showroom, of course I answered, "YES!"
