When the BBC first announced that it was streaming Radio 3 online at 320kb/s, I thought it was a bit misleading to describe it as 'high definition'. But after reading Jim Lesurf's column on the subject in the June issue, I felt I should at least try 320kb/s for myself. So I hooked up my Cambridge Audio DacMagic to my laptop running Windows 7 and, to my surprise given my limited computer expertise, succeeded in getting Radio 3' up and running in just a few minutes. And I have to say that it sounded pretty good from the DacMagic's analogue outputs.
