The heat transfer and chiller research communities in the world are pleased to announce the 60th birthday of Professor Takao Kashiwagi that was on the 6th December, 2006. We are happy to celebrate this joyous occasion and wish him many happy returns and successful years ahead. He is one of the world's leading experts in heat transfer, sorption (absorption and adsorption) cycles and a strong advocate and promoter of the cascaded energy systems in Japan. He was born in Tokyo on December 6th, 1946.
