Labour and Conservatives set out their stores

The Labour Party's general election manifesto has pledged that its Brexit approach "will ensure there can be no rolling back of key rights and protections and that the UK does not lag behind Europe in workplace protections... in future". The manifesto, which was published on 16 May, rarely refers explicitly to occupational safety and health (OSH), but contains many commitments around the protections, rights and employment status of workers and on enforcement that would have beneficial impacts on the UK's health and safety regime.
