One of the biggest movers in this year's chemical tanker fleet listing is Camillo Eitzen. A lot has happened to the Danish operator since last year - and much more is planned for the rest of 2005. Since the split between the Eitzen and Tschu-di in November 2003, Camillo Eitzen & Co (CECO) has gone a long way towards establishing its new focus on three core shipping areas - chemicals, gas and bulk - and on ship management. The latest step on this road was the takeover of the commercial operation of the Eitzen chemical tankers formerly in the Copenhagen Tankers pool by Eitzen Chemical A/S last month.
