Merseyside-headquartered FDL reports that demand for its range of UN-approved fibre drums for handling spent consumer batteries has quadrupled since it was launched in conjunction with Wastecare's Batteryback initiative last year. Employed as used battery collection points at major retail outlets across the country, the drums feature "unique decoration" in the form of photographic quality six-colour lithographic printing to carry the retailer's own branding and livery.
