Supreme Court won't review utilities' challenge of ozone standards

The Supreme Court refused today to consider an appeal by electric utilities challenging U.S. EPA air standards for ozone. The Utility Air Regulatory Group asked the justices to review a July 2013 federal appeals court ruling upholding EPA's primary National Ambient Air Quality Standard for ozone, a primary component of smog.
