Applause for 2SOPS and GPS Wing

It was a good day at CGSIC, at least if you are a big fan of GPS. It came across quite clearly that although many people around the world are not exactly comfortable with the U.S. military running the GPS constellation, they are doing a really good job. Quietly, and with no impact to the worldwide user community, they have continued upgrading both the space segment and the ground segment, improving reliability, accuracy, and dealing with the occasional issue in a straightforward, professional manner.
