Man faces Rico charges

The battle between Man Financial Inc. and the receiver for Philadelphia Alternative Asset Management (PAAM) and affiliated funds escalated in May as receiver C. Clark Hodgson filed a civil action against Man and several of its employees for negligence, common law fraud, violations of the Commodity Exchange Act (CEA), aiding and abetting fraud and violations of the CEA and violations of the Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act (RICO) in its role as broker for the now defunct PAAM.
