Take 16 chefs from 12 states, one certified master chef and a lot of passion, what do you get? A recipe for success, of course! I may be speaking a bit prematurely, as we have only had our first class. However, based on my time with my fellow classmates of the second Culinary Enrichment and Innovation Program (CEIP) sponsored by Hormel and CIA, I can say that we have only just begun. In October, I embarked on my 18-month journey with 15 other chefs from around the country, hoping to explore the culinary field in ways that we haven't had the time or opportunity to do since we first started our careers.
