ORR Guidance on Principles of Level Crossing Safety

The Office of Rail and Road (ORR) sought views on a new draft guidance publication ‘Principles for managing levelcrossing safety’. This guidance has now been published.The ORR says that the consultation did not identify that any significant changes to the guidance were required.The principles contained in this guidance apply to the design, management and operation of level crossings on:1. mainline railways (National Rail).
