Front-of-Pack Nutrition Labelling, Nutrient Profiles, Origin Labelling and Date Marking

The Food Safety Authority of Ireland (FSAI) is consulting on behalf of the Department of Health, calling for views andfeedback on the proposed revision of a number of labelling issues.The ‘Food Information to Consumers - Front-of-Pack Nutrition Labelling, Nutrient Profiles, Origin Labelling and DateMarking’ consultation seeks to gather information and opinions which will inform the national position on EU foodlabelling reforms that will enable consumers make more informed choices when selecting food. The Department ofHealth is keen to secure food businesses’ and consumers’ points of view in Ireland.
