BFPSA head the export charge

The FIC Export Council working with the British Government on behalf of the industry arranged a scoping mission to Dubai, a British Pavilion in India and an inward mission from Taipei. The mission to Dubai was organised with the help of the British Embassy and the financial support of the UK Trade & Investment - Fire & Security Sector Team. The mission's aim was to seek opportunities for British fire companies and promote British industry in the Emirates. The commercial teams at the Embassies in Dubai and Abu Dhabi arranged meetings for a British delegation, lead by Philip Field, Technical Director - LPCB (Loss Prevention Certification Board), with the Civil Defence Departments in both Dubai and Abu Dhabi where they were introduced to fire consultants, M&E contractors, specialist fire contractors, installers and domestic manufactures over a six day period.
