Forum gives itself two years to promote best practice

The successor to the high-level group on the competitiveness of the agro food industry met for the first time, on 16 November. While the structure and length of its mandate is more or less similar to that of its predecessor, the new High Level Forum for a Better Functioning Food Supply Chain will be more participatory and more holistic in its approach. It will ensure a permanent dialogue with stakeholders concerned with improving the food supply chain as a whole.
