EP defends principle of reciprocity with non-EU countries

The European Union must defend its strategic interests and its values with greater assurance. This is the message launched, on 9 March, by members of the European Parliament, in response to the EU executive's communication entitled 'An integrated industrial policy for the globalisation era'. In a resolution drafted by Bernd Lange (S&D, Germany), they defend fair competition and open markets, crucial for the emergence of new and dynamic industries.
