The paper develops tools and notions for systems described by Retarded Functional Differential Equations (RFDEs), extending corresponding notions and results concerning the nonlinear finite-dimensional case. The work constitutes a continuation of the paper "Global Output Stability for Systems Described by Retarded Functional Differential Equations: Lyapu-nov Characterizations" by same authors and is going to appear in this journal. The paper provides characterizations of various notions of Input-to-Output Stability (IOS) for uncertain systems with delays. Moreover, Razumikhin-type sufficient conditions for IOS and Robust Global Asymptotic Output Stability are provided (inspired by the results in [7]). The methodology for the establishment of the necessary and sufficient conditions for IOS is related to the methodologies adopted in [2-6], as well as to the Lyapunov characterizations presented in the EJC paper of the same authors mentioned earlier.
