The paper by Karafyllis, Pepe and Jiang develops tools and notions for systems described by Retarded Functional Differential Equations (RFDEs). The corresponding results generalize those have been obtained for the case of nonlinear finite-dimensional systems (see for instance [2, 5, 8-10] and relative references therein). The paper provides Lyapunov characterizations of Robust Global Asymptotic Output Stability (RGAOS) for uncertain systems with delays. The constructed Lyapunov functionals are generally time-dependent continuous functionals, locally Lipschitz with respect to the state variable. Various equivalent characterizations of uniform and non-uniform RGAOS are given in Theorem 4.1 and Theorem 4.2.
