Group I Polymers and Resins (Polysulfide Rubber Production, Ethylene Propylene Rubber Production, Butyl Rubber Production, Neo-prene Production); Epoxy Resins Production and Non-Nylon Polyamides Production; Acetal Resins Production and Hydrogen Fluoride Production Key Considerations: Under the residual risk program required by CAA Section 112(f), EPA is required to take a second look at existing MACT standards and determine if the emissions limits in those standards provide an ample margin of safety to protect public health. Should EPA's review find that the limits do not reduce lifetime excess cancer risks to the individual most exposed to emissions from a source category to less than 1 in 1 million, the Agency must promulgate residual risk standards. Those standards may in fact be equal to existing standards.
