Federal plan proposed for sludge incinerators

The EPA has proposed a federal plan to implement and enforce the Agency's March 21,2011, rule that set emissions limits or emissions guidelines (EG) for nine pollutants for existing sewage sludge incinerators (SSIs). The proposed plan would cover about 200 SSIs nationwide and would require compliance 5 years after the EGs were promulgated by March 21,2016.
