NGOs were critical of what they heard of the EFSA draft Opinion on nanotechnology after the power point presentation by Staffan Skerfving, chair of its nanotechnology working group. Conchy Martin Rey from the Spanish consumer group CECU questioned how EFSA could answer when "there are no reliable test methods." "How can you say it?" she asked Mr Skerfving. "You don't have the basis." She accused EFSA of having "more questions than answers."
