Study finds US companies not ready for REACH

North American companies may miss the most important REACH (Registration, Evaluation and Authorisation of Chemicals) deadlines and as a result suffer significant business disruption. This is the conclusion of a PriceWaterhouseCooper (PwC) survey published last week which found US firms least ready for REACH compliance. The consultancy PwC interviewed 241 senior executives across six industries in 29 countries to "gauge readiness and reaction to REACH". The results found European firms are the most aware of REACH with North American companies falling behind by a considerable margin.
