Have any batteries or accumulators been withdrawn from the market - and if so why and what actions have been taken to remedy this? This is one question member states need to answer in the questionnaire on implementing the batteries Directive, set in the Commission Decision (1) adopted at the end of last month.rnImplementation of existing laws is a priority for the outgoing European Commission; particularly as new ones cannot really get under way until the new executive starts operations next year.
