Green group European Environmental Bureau (EEB) welcomed the new "bold" and "ambitious" report. The EEB commended Florenz on his "tenacity", particularly regarding high collection rates, the ecodesign provisions, the extension of the scope and the "the future possibilities of financial incentives towards improved design of appliances".
