Raw materials strategy thin and weak on recycling, say Greens

The European Commission's raw material strategy should be more focused with a particular emphasis on recycling and resource efficiency, Green MEPs said last week, following the final release of the initiative last Wednesday. The long awaited text, instead of emphasising raw materials and recycling, dedicated a great deal of space to financial and commodities markets - and their impact on farmers, food makers and consumers.
