Time for Superfund Personal Injury Cases Would Be Extended Under New York Bill

Both houses of the New York State Legislature approved a bill (A. 9568) June 16 that would extend the statute of limitations in personal injury cases involving exposure to substances found within a state or federal Superfund site. Gov. Andrew M. Cuomo (D) was reviewing the legislation and hadn't indicated whether he will sign it, according to a spokesman.
