Portable Sectional Barges Deliver Versatility

Standard barges from Poseidon are commonly used for cranes, excavators, materials and other standard marine projects. But creative thinking by the Poseidon team and its customers has opened new uses for the company's sectional barges. A customer in Boston had need for an extra-large platform that was more than 100 ft wide and nearly 300 ft long. The Poseidon team assembled Poseidon P1 5-ft barges to produce a deck that was not only large enough and strong enough to accommodate the customer's original requirements, but also solved its need for a temporary helipad in a busy metro area.
