The question that many of us are currently asking is, "Where do we find ourselves?" In the 12 months since I last addressed this in an issue of ENR, we reacted to so much. Recovering from the COVID-19 pandemic, going through a particularly difficult election cycle, and now dealing with supply-chain disruptions and commodity shortages. It has been an interesting year to say the least. During the height of the pandemic, CMAA routinely asked leaders at construction management service firms across the country to share snapshots into not only how their organizations were handling the crisis but also their outlooks over the next 12, 24 and 36 months. This Longitudinal Study gave CMAA staff and volunteer leaders critical insights into how we can best serve our members moving forward. It was important to see how the outlook changed from month to month, especially as we experienced waves of infection and the development of vaccines.
