Measuring gas flow with MEMS sensors

Like piezoresistive, piezoelectric, and capacitive sensing techniques devices, sensors based on thermal microelectromechanical systems (MEMS) have enabled motion sensing in acceler-ometers. These thermal sensors are less expensive, more reliable, more accurate, and smaller than competitive approaches.
