Surface-mount Gas-discharge-tube Circuit Protection Devices

Tyco Electronics' line of gas discharge tubes (GDTs) protect high-speed xDSL modems, splitters, DSLAM equipment, AIO printers, base stations and security systems from damage caused by overvoltage events. Available in an expanded range of sizes and surge ratings, the devices are compliant with major industry standards, including GR-1089 Core, ITU K.20/K.21 and TIA. Available in both two-electrode and three-electrode versions. Key device parameters include voltage ranges from 75 to 600V, capacitance values as low as 0.5pF, and sizes ranging from 3 to 8mm.
