CHICAGO — Results presented at the American Shoulder and Elbow Surgeons Annual Meeting showedsignificantly lower costs related to outpatient total shoulder arthroplasty when compared with inpatient total shoulderarthroplasty, even after excluding costs related directly to hospital accommodations.
