摘要

This study aimed to investigate the effect ofhuman resource management on the performance withemphasize on the role of employee empowerment inMellat Bank. The population of this study consists of alldirectors, employees and experts of Mellat Bank branchesin Tehran. According to Krejcie and Morgan table, samplesize was determined 226 people and sampling was doneusing simple random method. This study was conductedin a descriptive and correlational way and data collectionwas done by questionnaire. For assessing the humanresource management, a questionnaire designed byChen etc. was used and also for measuring organizationalcommitment, a questionnaire in accordance with Spearsquestionnaire (2000) and based on Likert scale was used.Validity of research tools was approved using expertsand professionals consensus and the human resourcemanagement?s questionnaire reliability, employeeempowerment and organizational performance usingCronbach?s alpha were confirmed as 0.812, 0.835 and0.799, respectively. Data were analyzed with the use ofstructural equation models. The results show that theaspects of human resource management (training anddevelopment, compensation of services and performanceevaluation of employees) have a significant effect on theorganizational performance. However, sharing knowledgehas no significant effect on organizational performance.Also, the result of moderator hypothesis shows that thevariable of employee empowerment with impact factorof 0.209 significantly (and increasingly) adjusts therelationship between human resource management andorganizational performance. As a result, mentionedhypothesis is confirmed.
