Stigma around mental health disclosure in medical students

摘要

First and foremost, we would like to commend thisarticle by Fletcher et al. titled ‘An exploration ofmedical student attitudes towards disclosure of mentalillness.’ [1]. As senior medical students in the UK, wehave found that little information is provided aboutdisclosing mental illness during medical school.Hence, this research paper is intriguing to us as itaddresses an issue infrequently discussed. Despite thisstudy being carried out in a single site in NewMexico, we believe it could be applied on a globalscale.
