Managing the march of COVID-19: lessons from the HIV and AIDS epidemic

This journal emerged from a crisis: the AIDS epidemic. First published in 2001, the African Journal of AIDS Research nowpublishes over 50 articles a year in four issues with occasional special issues. All manuscripts are blind peer reviewed toensure high quality and we have a mentorship programme to support emerging scholars.
