Clinical Profile of Non-Malignant submandibular swellings in MMIMSR institute of medical sciences.

Submandibular triangle is an important area in ENTclinical practice, bounded medially by anterior bellyof digastric muscle, posteriorly by posterior borderof submandibular gland, and mandible superiorly.This triangular space contains submandibular gland,fat tissue, lymph nodes and neurovascular structuressuch as Facial and Lingual arteries, Anterior Facialvein, Marginal mandibular nerve, Hypoglossal,Lingual and Glossopharyngeal nerve1. Patients canpresent with isolated submandibular swelling arisingfrom any of the containing structures.
