Synthesis of lpha-aminonitriles catalyzed by montmorillonite K10 in the presence of dicationic phosphonium salt in water under ultrasonic effect

The synthesis of lpha-aminonitriles was successfullyaccomplished by the 1-pot 3-component reaction of several aldehydeswith (S)-lpha-phenylethylamine and sodium cyanide in water in thepresence of montmorillonite K10 and dicationic phosphonium salt underultrasonic effect with good yields and moderatediastereoselectivities.
