PROFESSOR RUEBNER: Good afternoon, I’m Ralph Ruebner,Associate Dean for Academic Affairs, and I welcome all of you here todayto this very, very special occasion. It is my distinct pleasure to welcomeyou and to let you know that we have just concluded a two-day seminar,a symposium on The Development of Privacy Law from Justice Brandeisto Today, which is the 20th Belle R. and Joseph H. Braun MemorialSymposium. We have had with us scholars and leaders in the privacyfield to bring their insights to our students, to the faculty, to ourjudiciary and to members of the legal community. My thanks to all ofyou for your participation. The culminating address of this symposiumwill be given by Justice Scalia this afternoon at a special convocation.
