Inthispaper,(1x2)T-shapedwavelengthrouterisdevisedontwodimensionalsquarephotoniccrystalslattice.Theconventionaltaperedridgewaveguidesandarcwaveguideofcomparativelylowdielectricconstantareintroducedinthecrystalstructure.Thesewaveguidesfacilitatethelighttransmissionfromtheinputporttooutputports.ThetransmissionspectrumforthisstructureisanalysedusingFinite-DifferenceTime-Domain(FDTD)approach.Theresultsindicatethatthedesignedroutercanseparatethewavelengthsof1.52micro;mand1.6micro;mwiththepowerefficiencyashighas99.9%.Theminimumcrosstalkobtainedfortherouteris-29.48dB.
