Mise en pratique du schéma 2BSvs dans le groupe industriel Sofiprotéol : étude de cas sur toute la filière (de l’agriculteur au pétrolier)

In order to reduce significantly the volume of COsub2sub/ emissions attributable to road transport, the EU is focusing on the sustainable development of biofuels. To meet and to demonstrate compliance with sustainability criteria, throughout the length of the value chain, the oil sector has begun preparing a voluntary audit scheme, the 2BSvs (Biomass Biofuels Sustainability voluntary scheme). Recognized by the European Commission on 19 July 2011, 2BSvs covers the entire biofuel production chain, from biomass producer to bonded storage. By presenting a case study of the entire sector, from the farmer to the fuel company, this article sets out the implications for those involved in the oilseed sector, the changes that have taken place since April 2013 and the challenges ahead.
