:Objective To investigate the nurses' attitudes towards post rotation of the head nurse, and to discuss the necessity and feasibility of the rotation of the head nurse. Methods 〓The in-depth interviews were conducted to 120 nurses selected by a random method. Results 〓The results of the survey were as follows: 96(80.00%)nurses held negative attitudes towards job rotation, 16(13.33%)nurses held positive attitudes and 8(6.67%)nurses felt indifferent and irrelevant. Nurses with older age, higher education level and higher job title were prone to hold negative opinions on post rotation of the head nurse. Conclusion 〓Most nurses hold a negative attitude towards the rotation of head nurses. The frequency of job rotation should be properly controlled.
