This article has two purposes. First, the consolidationof facts about natural and manmade biologicalwarfare agents as well as the use of technology inthe development of biological weapons, includingnear-term future evolvement in genetic engineeringto prevent the potential havoc-wreaking events usingbiological warfare. Secondly, this article aims tosuggest steps to tackle the vulnerability of humans tobiological warfare and to provide a potential solutionthat incorporates Directed Evolution to attack theproblem of biological weapon proliferation.
