摘要

The widespread use of the insulating mineral oils (transformer) poses a serious risk to the environment, due to itscontent in toxic organic substances and xenobiotics. Although the synthetic ester oils have a minimum risks to theenvironment, their use are limited due to their relatively high price. The papers present our preliminary studies on thepossible use of the vegetable, natural ester, oils in electric equipments.
