In the title chalcone derivative, C15H9Cl2FO, the dihedral angle between the aromatic rings is 19.13 (15) and the double bond adopts an E conformation. In the crystal, molecules are connected by weak C—HO hydrogen bonds, forming a chain propagating along the [001] direction.
