SYNTHESIS AND EVALUATION OF SOME 1, 2, 4-TRIAZOLE DERIVATIVES AS ANTICONVULSANT, ANTI-INFLAMMATORY AND ANTIMICROBIAL AGENTS

A new series of substituted 1,2,4-triazoles as substituted 4,5-diphenyl 4H-1,2,4-triazole-3-thiols [3a1-a6– 3d1-d6] have been synthesized and evaluated for their anticonvulsant, anti-inflammatory, antibacterial, antifungal activities. Structures of the compounds have been characterized by IR, 1H-NMR spectroscopy. All the compounds exhibited potent to moderate anti-inflammatory, anticonvulsant and antimicrobial activities
