Fortress Interlocks has added an E-stop to its eGard range of safety interlocks. Able to be configured for connection to a programmable logic controller (PLC) orrnAS-i network, the unit has just one flexible cable that connects the E-stop to its base connector. Programming of complex functions can thus berncompleted via a singlernmonitor and, oncernverified, the systemrncannot be modifiedrnwithout access passwordsrnas an added securityrnmeasure.
