One of the longest-running "fair price" campaigns for dairy products, with a bonus going direct to farmers with each sale, ended a successful first year in August with a total of five dairy products including UHT drinking milk retailed nationwide. Under a title translating as "a heart for producers" German discounter Netto marked the campaign's birthday by introducing a locally-produced 3.5% fat pasteurised milk in its north western supermarkets priced at €0.58 per litre.
