Q. Why did you decide to go into the area of contemporary cheese production? We saw the opportunity to create a 'fun'cheese brand that didn't take itself seriously. The Cheshire Cat is of course famous for his mischievous grin (some say evil) and hence the phrase was born, 'The Cheese That Makes You Grin.' We had to tie in with the name the Mad Hatter and the fun and cheeky brand was created by myself Simon Spurrell and co-founder Richard Buxton.
